William Knows You Know

“. . . [H]aving heard all of this you may choose to look the other way but you can never again say that you did not know.”

Once in a while, a quotation comes along that takes your breath away with its succinct power.  This one, courtesy of British abolitionist William Wilberforce and on the topic of slavery, reached across more than two centuries to punch me in my brain.  Climate change?  Torture of animals?  Poverty and homelessness?  Environmental destruction?  Racism?  William’s got you covered.
